On August 1, 2024, Propane Levac acquired Bangs Fuels, a well-known family-owned company in the petroleum industry for nearly 40 years.

This acquisition expands our presence and strengthens our commitment to providing quality services throughout Ontario.

With full integration scheduled for October 1, 2024, we’re determined to offer you a smooth customer experience, while maintaining the exceptional service you’ve come to expect.

Rest assured, nothing will change for you as a Bangs Fuels or Propane Levac customer! We are doing everything to ensure a smooth transition with the same quality service you are used to.

The HVAC division of Bangs Fuel (Bangs HVAC) has been acquired by Fernand Denis Inc., a well-established family business in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry. Customers will continue to receive service from the same trusted team at the same location. For more information, please call 613 264-8591.

What does this mean to you?

We’ve updated our system with your information to help our team serve customers more quickly and efficiently. Your customer number remains the same, but now includes a 'B' in front. For example, if your original number was 1234, it is now B1234.

No, your propane account will be transferred over to Propane Levac automatically as part of the acquisition, including delivery information, pricing, equipment and rental contract.

Payment will now be payable to Propane Levac, if you are on automatic withdrawal, expect to see Propane Levac on your bank or credit card statement.

Our customer portal lets you do all of that and more! You can easily pay bills, order propane, and monitor your tank level, as well as review your payment history and consumption. Delivery schedule remains the same, if you are an on call customer, you can use the same method as before to contact the office to place an order.

As of October 1st, 2024, the systems have been integrated. During this transitional period, you may receive deliveries from either a Propane Levac or a Bangs Fuels truck. Rest assured, service remains unchanged, with the same contact points and employees.

For now, your Bangs Fuels tank will remain as is. Any new tank installations or exchanges will feature Propane Levac branding. As we progress with the integration, we may update the branding on your existing tank. You will be notified of any changes, and rest assured, the rebranding or sticker update will be done at no cost to you.

We’ve included both logos on invoices and statements to clearly reflect the acquisition. Regardless of whether your delivery is made by a Bangs Fuels or Propane Levac truck, all billing is now handled by Propane Levac, and payments should be made solely to Propane Levac.

For fuel, your invoices will now come from MacEwen, and payments should be made directly to MacEwen. For propane, invoices will be issued by Propane Levac, and payments should be directed to Propane Levac. You will now have two separate accounts for these services.
Yes absolutely, the office remains open and same staff is on site to assist you.

Customer pricing will be transferred as is. However, please note that, like with Bangs Fuels and other propane suppliers, propane prices fluctuate daily. If you are on a fixed rate, it will be honored.

Your budget payment plan will be transferred to Propane Levac. However, if your current plan includes both furnace oil and propane, you will have separate budget plans with Propane Levac and MacEwen. The payment amounts will be adjusted based on your projected consumption of both products.

You will continue to receive the same excellent service and offers from Propane Levac that you’ve been accustomed to with Bangs Fuels. Your local branch will remain your main point of contact for all account, delivery, and service-related matters.

Yes, you will absolutely still have access to your tank monitor.
Yes, our 24/7 call center is still available. Additionally, you now have an extra contact number: Propane Levac’s toll-free number is 1-800-465-4927.

  • In Person – please visit our Perth office located at 1213 Christie Lake Rd, Perth, Ontario.
  • Online Banking – through your banking website you can set up a bill payment. The company is Propane Levac and you will need to enter your new account number. If your financial institution requires you to enter more digits than your account number for setup simply add zeros (0) before your account number. For example, your customer number is B12345 but your financial institution requires eight digits – enter 00B12345.
  • By cheque – please make cheques payable to Propane Levac and send them to our Head office address – 1213 Christie Lake Rd, Perth, Ontario K7H 3C6– Attention Accounts Receivables.
  • By credit card – you can pay by credit card over the phone, please call us at 613-264-8591.
  • Via our customer portal – you can pay, track and review your payments and more via our customer portal, to register please visit https://propanelevac.ca/en/customerportal.
